2017 RA National Roads Summit (Sydney) | 31/05/2017 | 08:30 | 01/06/2017 | 15:00 | ICC (International Convention Centre) Sydney |
The RA National Roads Summit is the one national event where the industry as a whole comes together to focus on the issues and challenges that affect how we deliver the best value-for-money transport infrastructure outcomes.
Unlike commercial conferences, the RA Summit is run by industry for industry and is the only transport conference that brings all the major roads and transport agencies together in the one place, at the one time.

CONFERENCE THEME
In 2017, our theme is Divided road ahead: making sense of the coming transport revolution.
No one doubts that the autonomous vehicle is a game-changer for land transport. But what exactly will the game look like in 20 years?
- Will our cities still be going up or out?
- Will we need more road space or less?
- Who will own and manage the networks - let alone the vehicles?
- What will user-charging look like?
- What's the future for public transport?
Our 2017 Summit Program also includes sessions on the issues of critical importance to the roads industry here and now, including procurement, asset management, road pricing and funding, safety and network reliability.
We'll also have our popular road agency leaders session, honing in on current agency priorities and strategies across Australia and providing an opportunity for industry to raise practical issues.
